This initiative will provide capacity building and funding to 16 Ukrainian civil society organisaions (CSOs) as well as procuring, installing and monitoring usage of lifesaving medicines and equipment for severely sick newborns. We will support CSOs to understand the needs and rights of children, their families and their communities, and effectively connect these to decision-making processes and actors. It builds on phase 1 of the Children's Resilience Fund which successfully enhanced the resilience of Ukranian children and enabled them to better withstand the effects of armed conflict by strengthening the technical expertise of local CSOs.
