Shehadeh Habash obtained his Masters degree in business administration, majoring in financial management from Wayne State University in Detroit, USA in 2004. Shehadeh has over ten years experience in the NGO sector following management of large scale USAID funded programs, with specific expertise in programme financial functions, quality management, reporting, tracking, design of policies, and internal controls. Holding the position of Finance Officer with the Catholic Relief Services until February 2009, Shehadeh played a key role in financially managing and overseeing the various projects within a $15 million budget. In addition, he acquired relevant expertise throughout large scale programs such as the Palestinian INE USAID funded project, the World Food Program (WFP), and other humanitarian developmental programs.
Shehadeh expanded his knowledge while participating in various training workshops such as Grants.gov, a Joint PVO USG Compliance & Financial Resource Management workshop concerning policies and procedures related to donors and grants. In April 2008 he underwent training on cost allocation strategies in Egypt towards reaching a substantially higher level in financial management. Over the past years, Shehadeh has taught courses in management, accounting and business at several institutions in Jerusalem. Shehadeh is fluent in Arabic, English, and has a fair knowledge of Hebrew and French. Shehadeh joined Integrity Action in February 2009 as Finance Manager.
